The Ledges at St. George
The St George area is definitely Utah's golf capital. The weather is mild during winter so golf is enjoyable year-round. As a result, some of the best courses in the southwestern US can be found here.
A few of the golf developments in particular are perhaps among the best in the west. The breathtaking black lava rock of Entrada at Snow Canyon is one of Johnny Miller's finest creations, Coral Canyon Golf Course by Keith Foster is fantastic to play, and Sand Hollow Resort by John Fought, was recently named the 7th Best New Public Golf Course in the country according to Golf Digest.
